WHAT’S THE JOB? TECHNICAL PRODUCT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

WHAT’S THE LOCATION? West Anglia / South-East Midlands (with travel)

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE A varied role with room for growth, you will be responsible for providing additional support to the Company’s dealers including in-season spare parts technical support, field and remote based product support, dealer training on parts and service in order to further strengthen overall standards of customer service. Office based to provide in-season technical parts support and with travel at other times of the year, this is a key role within the Company’s overall aftersales provision, suited to a recent agricultural engineering graduate or trained service technician seeking career progression and improved work / life balance.This is a diverse role, covering all key aspects of aftersales support and with potential progression opportunities, working for a leading brand in the agricultural machinery world.

WHAT QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?

  • From a technical / engineering background within the agricultural machinery sector, you’ll be motivated by providing high standards of customer service, either remote or field based, satisfying technical parts enquiries and conducting dealer training
  • You’ll have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, a helpful attitude to resolving enquiries and be flexible in reacting to time sensitive situations
  • You’ll have good IT skills including MS Office and CRM systems and be able to interpret spare parts and schematic drawings
  • Team focused, you’ll be able to develop strong working relationships internally with sales and technical colleagues, externally with dealer parts and technical teams and end users
  • You’re a natural multitasker, self-motivated and down to earth, with a practical can-do approach to satisfying customer demands
  • Experience of working with dealers and an understanding of the manufacturer-dealer relationship is useful, particularly in a service / technical support function
  • A full UK driving licence is required, you should be prepared to travel both within the UK and overseas, and you’ll reside in the West Anglia / South-East Midlands area
