WHAT’S THE JOB? RUMINANT NUTRITIONIST

WHAT’S THE TERRITORY? Midlands / South of England

WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE? Home based with regular travel, you will be on hand to offer advice to farmers and herd managers. Helping them to develop and implement animal nutrition plans using clearly defined protocols and principles. Training them to use the equipment and software provided by our client to deliver the best productivity results. 

For the right candidate, full training will be provided on animal nutrition, diet formulation and customer relationship management.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED? 

  • You’ll be a recent graduate in Animal Science or have at least 18 months experience of delivering nutritional advice to farmers
  • Being PC and software literate is an essential – as you will be training customers on how to use our client’s technology.
  • Articulate and with good all-round interpersonal skills.
  • You’ll be practically minded, able to demonstrate to a high standard
  • You’ll have experience in working with CRM and business management resources to manage your customer base efficiently
  • Well organised, you demonstrate good all-round planning and time management skills, ensuring that time on the road equals business
