Job Description

WHAT’S THE JOB? PARTS SALESPERSON

WHO’S THE EMPLOYER? R C Boreham & Co are Deutz Fahr Dealers Essex and surrounding counties. Also main dealers for, Merlo Telehandlers, Polaris ATV’s and Holder Equipment.

WHAT’S THE INDUSTRY? Agricultural Machinery 

HOW WILL I BE REWARDED? Competitive salary based on experience + Company pension scheme + 23 days holidays plus bank holidays + Integrated software and manufacturers’ systems training provided  

WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? Essex + outskirts of Hertfordshire & Cambridgeshire

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? This position would suit a hardworking, efficient individual who enjoys communicating with customers and working as part of a team.

Duties include:

  • Serving customers over the phone & in our showroom
  • Parts identification – genuine & non-genuine parts for all makes & models of agricultural machinery
  • Goods receiving
  • Picking & ordering of parts
  • Supporting the Service Department with parts requirements
WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?  
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere
  • General computer skills – Internet use & experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Organised and able to work on own initiative
  • Ability to multi-task & work to deadlines
  • Knowledge of agricultural machinery is advantageous
