WHAT’S THE JOB? PARTS MANAGER     

WHO’S THE EMPLOYER? The UK subsidiary of a leading global manufacturing group of high-quality specialist agricultural machinery whose 2020 product portfolio is highly sought after. WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? West Anglia / East Midlands

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? This fast-paced role is central to the customer service and aftersales performance of the business. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, a multi-tasking and commercially focused approach is required to achieve success. Engaging and developing strong working relationships with dealers and end users, leading your team by example will ensure that business develops in line with the Company’s parts sales strategy.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED? 

  • We’ll need to know that you are an enthusiastic and inspirational team leader capable of motivating others and enthusing them with your drive and ambition
  • Are you capable of developing business within a parts sales operation? Do you have an eye for new commercial opportunities and maximising business potential?
  • Your career to date will show a healthy and successful spare parts management history and you’ll have a healthy empathy for modern farming practices in order to understand the requirements of a large and loyal customer base and how to capture and develop business
  • You’ll be an advocate for change and growth, fully receptive to industry changes, buying patterns and new technologies
  • Your customer-focused approach will shine through, along with a passion for your work and the ability to go the extra mile when required to ensure that service levels are of the highest standard
  • A proficient standard of IT literacy (CRM and MS Office) and a belief in the technology systems available to encourage efficiency and profitability will further strengthen your credentials
