WHAT’S THE JOB? AREA SALES MANAGER – GROUNDCARE MACHINERY

WHO’S THE EMPLOYER? A long-established and respected agricultural machinery dealership successfully operating in the South East with a commercially successful history representing some of the leading Global and European brands in the industry.

WHAT’S THE INDUSTRY? Groundcare Machinery

HOW WILL I BE REWARDED? Impressive basic salary + Commission + Benefits + Vehicle

WHERE IS THE ROLE LOCATED? Hertfordshire, UK

TELL ME MORE ABOUT THE ROLE? Groundcare Professional with a strong understanding of the machinery industry. The role is field-based, will involve extensive travel within the Sussex area and occasionally beyond, and will involve hands-on demonstration of new machinery

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

  • Groundcare Professional, with an impressive commercial ability
  • Highly motivated individual with a discernible ‘can-do’ attitude and who prides themselves in excellence within customer service
  • Good understanding of the Groundcare machinery sector
  • A strong technical background combined with a hands-on approach to machinery presentations and demonstrations
  • Able to influence at different levels across a customer base ranging from greenkeepers and local authorities to groundcare professionals
  • Able to work under their own initiative reporting directly to the Branch Manager
  • Well organised with high personal standards and excellent administration and IT skills
  • A clear communicator in face-to-face interactions, phone and email, both to customers and colleagues
  • Driving licence – Essential
